EAST FINCHLEY NEIGHBOURHOOD SUPPORT - THE FOOD PROJECT

East Finchley Neighbourhood Support have teamed up with chef Giuseppe Sollo to create East Finchley Neighbourhood Support – The Food Project: a community food service giving out free, home-made meals to anyone in need. No questions asked, no referral needed.

WHAT IS THE FOOD PROJECT?

Cooking for people and sharing food together is one of the ways we can show solidarity and care for each other. So, we teamed up with CommUNITY Barnet to support East Finchley Neighbourhood Support and local chef, Giuseppe Sollo, to launch East Finchley Neighbourhood Support - The Food Project: a weekly food service giving our free, home-made meals to anyone in need. No questions asked, no referral needed.

Each week, Giuseppe and co-chefs Viola Slodzinska, Vincenzo Napoletano and Anna Gajda prepare and pack 200 meals, which can be collected from the front of The Phoenix Cinema (52 High Road, N2 9PJ) between 10.30am -12.30pm every Tuesday.

HOW CAN I SUPPORT THE PROJECT?

There are two main ways you can support East Finchley Neighbourhood Support - The Food Project to make sure that anyone in need in the N2 area can have at least one tasty, nutritious meal per week.

1. Donate at the GoFundMe page

For £5, the team at the food project can create, package and distribute one nutritious warm meal for a member of our community who is in need, every week - no questions asked.

2. Volunteer with us!

East Finchley Neighbourhood Support are always on the look out for recruits to join the team - be that cooking in the kitchen, delivering food, handing out meals, behind-the-scenes admin, or joining the board.
