How much can I apply for?
There are two kinds of grants up for grabs:
Community Chest Fund: where local residents can apply for up to £500
Main Grant Fund: where local organisations can apply for up to £10,000
Who can apply?
Anyone and everyone over the age of 16, who lives, works, studies, or volunteers in this corner of East Finchley! If you’re between the ages of 16-18, you’ll need to apply under the guardianship of an adult or your school.
What can the money be used for?
We’re on the lookout for creative, accessible projects that will bring our community together, whilst adhering to current guidelines around COVID. It could be arts and crafts activities, online cooking clubs, language classes, environmental projects, digital reading groups, socially distanced after-school and holiday activities, food insecurity initiatives, community gardening projects, employability workshops, sports clubs or youth programmes - the list goes on!
How do I apply?
Using our five-minute funding form which you can access at the top of this page. We can also send over hard copies of the form if that works better – just give us an email at [email protected] or call on 020 3857 9492 ext. 0237.
After we receive your application, we will send over a link to the terms and conditions and a checklist of things you might need (e.g. DBS check, bank details, insurance) that you must get back to us, if you're successful in your application, by Monday 4th January. Don't worry if you don't have everything on the list though - we can help you with getting what you need!
Where can I find out more information?
Make sure to subscribe to our newsletter and follow us on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook. We’re also holding two online info sessions where you can run any ideas past us, learn more about the programme, hear from past recipients, and ask any burning questions you have! They'll be held:
6-7pm, Thursday 12th November
2-3pm, Thursday 26th November
